My Story
Hello there!
My full name is Kassandra Roy but I go by KC. I am fortunate enough to have been practicing physiotherapy for over five years. Born and raised in a small town in Manitoba, I grew up playing sports and attending physical therapy for different injuries. In these years I developed a passion for sport, understanding the human body, and motivating people to move their bodies in meaningful ways.
I graduated with a masters of Physical Therapy at the university of Maniotba in 2018, after completing a bachelors of Kinesiology at the university of Winnipeg in 2016. My career began in Manitoba in a private clinic before moving out west. Three years ago I moved to the South Okanagan and have not looked back since!
I love to travel and stay active in my down time - from enjoying hiking, to snowboarding, to recently entering into the vast world of triathlons. My favourite part of my job is helping my patients return to all of the things that they love to do and sharing their successes with them.
My physiotherapy practice combines active movement with muscle work and manual therapy. I am certified in Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) and have a special interest and training in treating the jaw (temporomandibular dysfunction). I am thankful to continue to serve our beautiful community and work with my patients to ease their pain and injuries and improve their quality of life.
