From a small town called Pembroke

Dr. Brittany Morris BSc., D.C.

Hello Everyone,

My name is Dr. Brittany Morris and I am delighted to say that I am a Chiropractor in the Osoyoos community.

I graduated from the University of Saint Francis Xavier, Antigonish, Nova Scotia, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Kinetics (BScHK) with Honours. I then decided to continue my education and pursue my dream of being a Chiropractor. I attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractor College in Toronto, Ontario, where I obtained my Doctorate of Chiropractic degree. It was also during these four years where I took an interest in mental health and have received additional advanced training in mental health response. I am a firm believer that the body and mind work hand in hand and that they must work together in order for an individual to reach their maximum potential.

I was born and raised in Pembroke, Ontario where I was actively involved in the community and in athletics, both as an athlete and as a coach. During my high school years I developed a love for running and began to devote most of my time and energy into my cross country and track career. This passion for running continued into University where I ran for the varsity team for two years.  An injury caused me to resign from the varsity team but with chiropractic care I recovered from these injuries and this allowed me to start running again. During this time I realized how beneficial holistic, hands-on care can be and I knew then that I wanted to dedicate my life to treating individuals, helping them to overcome pain and injury.

Not only do I have a love for helping others but I also have a love for education. Throughout my career I will continue to learn and expand my knowledge base so that I can provide you, the community of Osoyoos and the surrounding area, the most up to date and relevant information.  Recently I became a CCMI (Complete Concussion Management) practitioner, which allows me to safely and accurately assess, diagnose and treat concussions and post concussion syndrome. My focus will always be to provide evidence-based, patient specific care in order to optimize your health and wellness. I cannot begin to describe how thrilled I am to be part of such an amazing community and look forward to working along aside each of you to help you achieve optimal function and well-being.
